With over 40 years of uninterrupted service, Auxilio Mutuo’s Transplant Center
has cemented itself as a medical leader in Puerto Rico and is the only medical
center in the Caribbean accredited by the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS)
to perform kidney, pancreas and liver transplants on pediatric and adult patients.
Our medical faculty and multidisciplinary team specialized in transplants work
in tandem to accompany each patient during each step of the process, tending
to their needs thoroughly and allowing them to receive excellent attention
without having to leave the island.
At our Transplant Center, patients are never alone. We offer
all surgical and psychosocial medical services in the same
place; our multidisciplinary team is by the patient’s side
during each step of the process with empathy,

Patients who are candidates for transplant may get their laboratory tests
done at our Satellite Clinics, located in various regions of the island. This

Donating an organ is an act of love that transcends our lifetime.
Donations that are given while living typically occur between
family members or friends who wish to help a loved one in their
time of need. At Auxilio Mutuo’s Transplant Center, we carry out
liver transplants with the help of living donors; thanks to the
donation of a healthy person who can live well with a single
kidney, another life may be saved.
